LPE CNC Machined Aluminium Cap for Acetech Lighter BT Tracer Unit (Black)

This CNC machined aluminium cap is designed to replace the poor fitting and fragile plastic cap which comes with the otherwise excellent Acetech Lighter BT tracer unit, this cap will not fit any other tracer units.

 

Each cap is machined from a solid bar of extruded 6082 T6 aluminium with machine cut threads, this provides a much more secure fit with better durability and also will protect the internals of your tracer unit from BB impacts which can smash the original plastic caps. Four holes are drilled in the face for a 3mm or 1/8” pin spanner to help tighten and undo the cap however a pair of long nose pliers can also be used, just make sure you don't over-tighten it.

 

Important note, the aluminium cap may block the bluetooth signal from the tracer unit so you may have to remove it to be able to use the bluetooth chrono function.
